Young Impact Associate (YIA) Fellowship Cohort 2
The second cohort of the Young Impact Associate (YIA) Fellowship has launched! The program aims to inspire and prepare a new generation of impact professionals who can champion the evolution of the evaluation field in Africa. As a Young Impact Associate, you will benefit from; Applied Professional Experience, you will work full-time with Vanguard Economics, dedicating 10% of your time to classroom sessions, 20% to reflecting and learning with others, and 70% to hands-on learning. Networking with Sector Leaders; you will collaborate with partners across Africa, amplifying youth voices in the evaluation sector. You will receive a competitive monthly salary throughout the 12-month fellowship. Tsindira Igishoro
An opportunity for those living in: Rubavu, Rutsiro, Karongi, Nyamasheke, Rusizi, Gasabo, Nyarugenge, and Kicukiro.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM), in collaboration with the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel), is set to award entrepreneurs who stand out through a competition for projects that are either already being implemented or ideas that could develop into projects.
These opportunities are designated for youth (both boys and girls) and women with innovative ideas or projects aimed at fostering innovation and employment through cross-border small-scale trade and small and medium enterprises. This applies to those operating in the districts of Kicukiro, Gasabo, Nyarugenge, Rubavu, Rutsiro, Karongi, Nyamasheke, and Rusizi.
The prizes include providing capital to individuals, cooperatives, or businesses whose projects outperform others.

ArtsConnekt Awards 2024
The ArtsConnekt Awards is the first competition organized by the Ministry of Youth and Arts in collaboration with partners such as UNDP, the EU, and others. The competition is open to all entrepreneurs in creative industry who meet the following criteria:
Must be a Rwandan citizen; Must have a growing project that has the potential to create many jobs to artists , other people and bring positive change to arts; The project or the entrepreneur must not have previously won any award from competitions organized by the Ministry of Youth and Arts or its partners, especially Imbuto Foundation and the Ministry of ICT; Must have a legally registered business or cooperative (certified by RCA or RDB).

Are you ready to make a real difference on our planet? Join the Green Rising Rwanda challenge and show how you’re making a positive impact. The sooner you participate, the better your chances of winning monthly prizes of USD 225.
How to win prizes: Choose an eco-friendly action from the following:Planting trees or restoring forests, Proper waste management and recycling, and educating and raising awareness about environmental protection.
Record a short video (no longer than 2 minutes) or take photos showcasing some of your environmental actions. Your footage should highlight the activity you’re involved in and explain why you chose to do it.
Write a brief description explaining your action, the positive impact it’s making, and what inspired you to do it.

Commonwealth Master’s scholarships 2025/26 academic year
The scholarships are for study in the UK beginning in September/October 2025. The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) provides the UK government scholarship scheme led by international development objectives. It is funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.
Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships are for candidates from eligible low and middle income Commonwealth countries, to undertake full-time taught Master’s study at a UK university.
The deadline for submitting an application is on 15 October 2024.
