Avoid those who want to divide you – Mayor Nyemazi’s message to the youth

The Mayor of Kayonza District, Nyemazi John Bosco, asked the youth to be vigilant in their places of residence and on social media, condemning those who want to divide them and those who belittle the Genocide committed against the Tutsis and those who want to insult the history of Rwanda.

It is in his message to the youth in these times of commemoration for the 30th time of the Genocide against the Tutsis in 1994.

Mayor Nyemazi John Bosco said that there are still bad attitudes that discriminate and want to divide Rwandans and he asked the youth to teach them and not let evil prevail.

He said, “Those are the forces that our youth should teach them, and secondly, there are people who are disparaging and promoting the ideology of Genocide on social media where there are abusive words. The youth have a role in educating all these people and condemning all evil.”

Mayor Nyemazi continued asking the youth that in these 100 days of the 30th commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994, they should be close to the survivors and do activities that will help them regain their strength.

He said that everyone should understand that it is their responsibility to leave behind the achievements, do not ignore those who ignore the history of Rwanda and everyone should understand that it is their responsibility to fight the ideology of Genocide.
